Los Elegidos Ministries
We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian ministry directed by the Lord to bring the love of Jesus Christ to help restore, save, and disciple the lives of abused and neglected youth in our community of Cañon Buena Vista (El Zorrillo), just 12 miles south of Ensenada, Baja Mexico.
OUR MISSION
To develop a mutual trust and respect for all the youth as we share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His unconditional love for them. Through mentoring and discipleship our youth learn that they are precious and valuable in the sight of God - their past does not define them.
OUR VISION
"To set the captives free", and take every youth we can by the hand and lead them to Christ so we are all "heaven bound."
A QUOTE FROM R. C. SPROUL
"When God calls us to serve, He calls us to come alongside others and become a part of their lives. He uses us to hold each other up and to help others grow in their walk with Christ. Look at those who surround you and discern who you need to serve. Deliberately plan to become a part of their lives so that you can fulfill His call."
WHO WE SERVE - GOD's CALLING ON OUR LIVES
"This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that a person lay down his life for his friends." John 15:12,13
"Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." Psalm 82:3,4
"Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God." Proverbs 14:31
"It is a sin to despise one's neighbor, but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy."
Proverbs 14:21
"When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed." Luke 14:13,14
"There are over 2,000 verses in the Bible directing us to care for the stranger, widow, orphan, the poor, the helpless among us. God is clear that this is important to His heart and our Christian walk. Just like He rescues us and provides for us, so should we for others." O.G.
