True Story - One Saturday afternoon while "pushing" weights in my garage (1988), the Lord "spoke" to me very clearly, something that I was not use to hearing - God wanted me to go on the radio to preach the gospel and play "rap" (hiphop) music, at the time, a genre of music I despised because of all the evil rap music I was hearing on the radio. At the time there were only two Christian rap artists that I knew of. How was I going to get on the radio with no experience, and play rap music when there was none, and speak on a microphone to thousands of people, when I could barely hold a conversation with one person?

Fast forward to a year later, and I was already subbing on a Christian radio station in the High Desert (Lancaster, Palmdale), KAVC 105.5 FM, playing all my favorite preachers Sunday mornings and "sneaking" rap music in between sermons, something I was told by the station manager "We will never do!"
Just six months after, "The Power of R.A.P." (Rhythmic Anointed Poetry) radio show was born, where I preached the gospel and played all my favorite Christian rap music on Saturday nights, a 60 minute show.
The show continued when I finally moved from the High Desert back to my home town, Carpinteria, where the show had now evolved into a 2 hour segment on KCSB, 91.9 FM at the University of Santa Barbara in 1994.
The show continued, now called Reality HipHop, based on the name of the church I was attending in 2005.
When I left for Mexico in 2007, some friends continued to produce the show, finally coming to it's end in 2009.
It was the summer of 2018 when I felt the "itch" to get back on the radio, any station, here in the beautiful city of Ensenada, Mexico - we approached a couple of stations - NOBODY wanted hiphop music on their station, unless you paid an exhorbitant price for one hour . . . 
Then one day in early December of 2022, the Lord again spoke to me very clearly - "Prepare a 2-hour radio show."
For what, I had no idea . . . until my wife and I were invited up to Santa Barbara near the end of December to stay with family, and then ONLY by the grace of God, we were invited to KCSB to do a 2-hour radio show!
Not only did they invite us, they asked us if we wanted to be back on the air! God is good, all the time!
Radio Los Elegidos 
We began broadcasting over the airwaves of Santa Barbara and heard worldwide via the internet in January of 2023, and every Sunday (7am-8am) since then, we have produced our radio show (15-20 hours of production) with HipHop "en Español" and the gospel to reach the lost around the world.
Friends of hiphop artists here in our neck of the woods share with us that friends and family are listening all over Mexico, some in Honduras, others in Argentina, Colombia and so on.
We promote the show through various social media outlets via the internet to reach as many as we can for the Lord, always presenting the gospel and salvation. THAT was always God's purpose from day one . . . God is faithful.
